6 Random Things.

Oh man. So I haven't updated this thing in a while. But one of my good friends, Anna, from West Virginia has tagged me to do a post about 6 random things. I figured this would give me an excuse to update. So I was sitting trying to think of 6 random things about me. I'm really not all the random or have that many interesting things about me. So we'll see how this goes.

1. I love to eat chips with mustard. People think it is absolutely disgusting, but I love it! The kids at my new school eat it all the time and they got me hooked on it. I recommend you try it before you say anything bad about it =).

2. I absolutely love weddings, but I think most people already know that about me. I've basically been planning my wedding since I was in the 5th grade. I love to watch all the wedding shows. I've always just been in love with them.

3. I'm kind of stealing this one from Anna, but I honestly can not think of anything. But I have never ridden on a roller coaster. I have always been terrified of them, but our youth group is going to Six Flags in September, and I've already been told by my friends that they will drag me on more than one. So we'll see how that goes.

4. I have an addiction to Dunkin' Donuts French Vanilla Iced Coffees and their chocolate chip cookies. There have been days when I've had 3 medium iced coffees in one day. It's definitely a bad addiction, but they're just amazing. It's kind of how Tiffany is with Diet Dr. Pepper's.

5. I love to go to baseball games, especially my cousin Devin's games. I just love the whole atmosphere with the parents and everything. They're always a lot of fun.

6. Texting is my obsession. It's pretty bad too. If you see me, then I will probably be texting, but if I'm not, then my phone will be right there in my hand.

We're moving Tuesday. I know. What a good way to start a new post. But it's finally here. We went and picked my daddy up at the airport on Thursday and I was so excited to see him! I hadn't seen him in a month!!! My last day was Tuesday and honestly, it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I only cried at the end of the day. We packed pretty much the rest of the week. Yesterday (Saturday) we had about 22 people that came and helped us pack up the moving truck. It was a tough day. So emotionally and physically draining. We're staying at my aunt and uncles house for tonight and tomorrow since we have no furniture in our house. Tuesday we'll start up and we'll get in on Wednesday. We can get into our rental house on Saturday so we're going to be staying with some people for a few days. I think we're going to be starting school on Friday. It's going to be a weird week.

Please pray for us as we start this new chapter to our lives. We're all having mixed emotions about this right now and it's going to be tough for a while. We know that this is where God is calling us to go. We're going to help a church that really needs it. We're doing the right thing. God is going to be with us every step of the way, but it's still going to be hard.

To all my friends in West Virginia:

I love you guys so much! You have been absolutely amazing. I'm going to miss you so much, but we'll still be friends. You all need to come and visit me! I'll be down to visit too. I have so many memories with you guys and I will never forget them. You guys will always be in my heart. Best friends forever. It's a promise.

Moving Update and Andy

I know. I know. Posting 2 times so close to each other is a miracle! haha. But I got more information about the house so I figured I would let you guys know. We're not going to be getting that house. It's not the one the my mom really likes. So we're just waiting now..I guess. I really have no idea what's going on. Things are very confusing and we're taking it day by day and for anyone that really knows me, knows how hard that is for me. I like to know what's happening and what's going, and I am not patient at all. I guess this is God saying, "Here you go Hannah. Here's your chance to practice patience." All I know right now is that I'm going to school at least through Friday, then we have to see what happens. The projected move date is the weekend after next. But that'll probably change tomorrow the way that things are going right now.

On Saturday afternoon, I went to the Salvation Army with Sam, Anna, Donna, and Delaney and we fed the homeless. There was a guy, Andy, there who told us pretty much his life story. haha. But sometimes I guess people just need someone to listen to him. He has had an amazing life. He had horrible times, close to death times, and heart-warming times. Through it all though, he praised God. He was an alcoholic for years and now his is 10 years sober. I mean, his story is just amazing. I loved talking to him and listening to his story about all that he's endured. He asked Anna and I why were we there. He said, "It's a Saturday night. You girls should be out on dates. Wouldn't you be anywhere else?" and we said, "Of course not." He was a such a cool guy and I wish I could see him again. He asked us to pray for him and his back. If his back doesn't straighten up, then he was to have surgery and he really doesn't want to have to have surgery. So just remember him in your prayers please.

Housing Update!

As of now, we have no idea when we are moving. We thought it was going to be next Saturday, but now we're not really sure. It all depends on the housing situation up there. We have offered on a house and are just waiting to hear back from them. I like the house a lot.

So my mom and I are going back to Honduras in June this summer!!! I am so excited!! We were thinking that we wouldn't be able to go, but we are! The school is going to let me take finals early, or just take them when I get back! I'm so happy.
I started reading a new book, Starving Jesus: Off The Pew, Into The World by Craig Gross and JR Mahon. I'm on the third chapter but it is such a good book!!! I do highly recommend it!!

New Year.

It's the start of 2008 and everything is going to be totally different this year.
2007 was a great year! With Winterfest, youth group get togethers, Honduras, work camp, youth rallies, and just fun times with my friends. I became closer with friends and made totally new friends that I wouldn't be able to live without. I had amazingly fun times with my friends, times that I will never forget.
2008 is going to be the start of new part of my life. With a new house, a new school, a new church, and new friends. The first couple months are going to be crazy with trying to settle in a making new friends. Hopefully it will be a good year.

Random Update.

So I guess I really don't have much to write about these days. All of you already know that I am moving up to Massachusetts in January. I'll probably use this thing more after the move so friends and family back here in West Virginia can know what's going on in my life.
We had our first big snow of the year today and I'm loving it =D I love snow soo much!

School is going well right now. Almost time for Christmas break!! Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I just love the atmosphere of it! I'm really hoping for a white Christmas this year.

I can't really think of anything else to write about right now. I guess I'll update later on when I have something more interesting to write about

Prayer Request.

At the end of worship on Sunday, one of the Elder's at our church announced that Mario Figueroa, a sophmore at Ohio Valley University, was killed last Saturday night in an ATV accident. It was a complete shock to everyone. You could look around the auditorium and see everyone's face drop. Mario was a member of the soccer team at OVU and a friend to everyone. Please pray for the family and friends of Mario and for everyone at OVU at this time. Thanks.

The Irresistible Revolution

I've been reading a book lately called The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne, and let me just say it is one amazing book! I highly recommend it to anyone! but anyway. there has been some amazing quotes and things that Shane has said in his book, but one has hit me really hard and I can't seem to stop thinking about: "I remember hearing about on old comic strip in the days of St. Ed's. Two guys are talking to each other, and one of them says he has a question for God. He wants to ask why God allows all of this poverty and war and suffering to exist in the world. And his friend says, 'Well, why don't you ask?' The fellow shakes his head and says he is scared. When his friend asks why, he mutters, 'I'm scared God will ask me the same question.'" I was reading that during school and I finished and was like, "Wow." I was sitting next to my friend Kelly and she was like what? So I read it to her and she was like, "Wow." It's just powerful to think about that. I mean we are called to be the body of Christ. His hands and His feet on Earth. Why do we allow all this to happen? The prayer that we read and recite, but never really think about what the words say, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven." Have you ever really thought about that..Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Again this brings me back to the point of we are called to be the hands and feet of God. I mean really..why aren't we out there helping the world? We sit at home and wonder why all this stuff happens, but we never do anything about it. I'm preaching to the choir here too folks, because I'm guilty of doing the exact same thing. I want to do a lot more mission trips like Honduras. I feel happy when I do those types of things. I feel like I'm actually doing something to help people, which I love to help people. It's an amazing feeling for me. but anyways..this is just something that has been on my mind lately and I thought it was worthy of a blog post. I would love to hear your opinions on this, too so leave the comments!

My Life Lately..

so school started back on August 27th. It's going okay so far. My history and geometry class are going to be pretty hard I think. Well I don't think..I know..because they have been pretty hard so far. My other ones are okay. Nothing as hard as those two. Spanish 2 is going to be my favorite I think..since Spanish has become a new passion of mine. So as most of you probably already know..I'm out for the whole volleyball season. I torn ligaments and severly pulled my ACL and MCL in my right knee at a volleyball practice. I was very very upset when I heard that. I mean, I chose to stay down on the junior team this year as a 9th grader because I though we would have a really great chance of winning the championship..and as it turns out we do..I just won't be on the court =( They're 2-0 so far which is so much better than we were last year. And I can't help but wonder why this had to happen? Why God let this happen? I was talking to my mom about that the other night and she said that accidents happen. That when something bad happens I have to keep on praising God..but you know how are that is right know? At practice, the day before i got injured, my coach asked me to pray over the team and for the season. I prayed that there would be no injuries during the season and that He would keep up safe. And I got injured the next day. You know how are that is for a 14 year old girl to comprehend? It's just been hard lately. My mom also said that it's the Devil trying to get to me saying, "See? You prayed to Him and looked what happend." So right now if you could pray for me, I would appriciate it a lot. This is really really hard for me right now...Thanks guys.

Honduras..finally!!!

alright..so here is my update about Honduras..there will probably be about 2 or 3 more blogs about other summer stuff after this so go look at those later too!!! So my mom and I went to Honduras, June 9-17, with a group from our church, the Grand Central Church of Christ. It was absolutly amazing!! Oh man..I can't even begin to explain how this trip has changed my life. It make look at some things a lot differently now. I mean people here in the U.S. (including me) just want and want and want. Down there..man..you get a real realitly check. They have probably one outfit maybe two until more groups from the U.S. bring them clothes down. They may wear the outfit they have for a year before they get a new one. I take everything for granted that I have here. I mean, I have a mom, dad, and sister, a family that loves me, friends that are always there for me, a wonderful church who supports me, and a school to get an education from. I also get to eat as much as I want in a day. Down there, they're lucky if they still live with one parent. A lot of them don't have a way to get to church besides walking so they will walk for 2 hours just to get to church on a Sunday morning. It's just so amazing!! Some of the kids don't even get an education and if they do then it's only for a few years. Most of them get only one meal a day..if that. It just hurts my heart to see that. God never stopped amazing me on this trip though. Just the way He made things work out for our group to do more things then we ever imagined and to have way more money then we ever planned on getting!! It was truley an eye-opening experience for me. I will never be able to forget some of the sights I saw. I mean..kids were fighting just to get one toy because they didn't have anything. There are some kids faces that I can't get out of my head. I think about them all the time..wonder how they are doing..where they are now..are they getting food to eat? Are they okay? I just can't help up wonder about all of them..I came home and was like..What am I doing here? Why do I deserve all of this when they have nothing? It just didn't make sense to me. I am so thankful for everything that I have now! For everything that I get to experience. So now about our group.. We had about 35 people I think that went from the trip. We all came from all over! We had someone from Texas, Deleware, and Morgantown, WV. Most of us didn't know eachother before we went on the trip, but now we have life-long friendships from it. I believe everyone was called to go on the trip for a certain reason..God had them there for a reason. We all got along so so well!! It was truely amazing!! I love every single one of them!! One thing we always did, and I will never forget this, was sing. No matter what we were doing, we were always singing. Whether it was bagging food for a food distribution or just singing on the bus. It was simply amazing! So we got to Honduras on Saturday afternoon and man..was it hot!! We went outside and took a group picture and loaded all of our bags onto a truck that was then taken to the mission house. We walked over to Church's Chicken and saw the kids from Casa de Esperanza which is the orphange that Jen Wright from Belpre runs. Then we loaded up on a bus and went to the mission house where we had a meeting then loaded our stuff our rooms. We went and had dinner at the dining hall after that then we had devo that night...

On Sunday we woke up, ate breakfast, loaded on the bus then headed to church at Los Pinos. Church service was simply amazing!! I will never look at a church service the same way again! I mean..they were clapping and lifting their hands up the whole time while they were singing. It was true worship. The first song they sang was "Shout to the Lord" (in Spanish of course). It was awesome!! I will probably never sing that song the same way again!

This was a picture of me and Rosa that another girl on the team took. After church, we loaded on the bus again and went to Jovenes in Camino which is an orphange just for boys. That was so much fun!!

After Jovenes, we went to The Good Shephard's Children Home, which has about 225 people! It was so cool!! We felt famous when we got there cause the kids were all around the bus when we pulled up and they kept grabbing us and yelling "Hola!" A few little girls grabbed my hands right away and stayed with me the whole time!! Anna and one of her girls, kept making fun of me in spanish..It was a lot of fun!! When we were leaving, Anna and I kepy hugging our girls and we were bawling our eyes out! It was so hard to leave it! We kept hugging until they told us that we had to get on the bus, NOW!

On Monday we built a house. The house site was on the side of a hill! It was crazy! It was pretty scary for me cause all the Honduran guys kept looking at me and asking a guy on our team, Walter (who speaks fluent Spanish) about me. He finally told them that he was my husband so they would stop asking. So he was my husband for the week =P They also kept trying to steal our backpacks. We had to move them three times. It was all worth it at the end though when we saw the look on the family's face when they came inside their new house. When the mom of the family came around and hugged us all with tears streaming down her face..that one moment made it all worth it!

That night we went to the Jesus Statue for devo. It was absolutly amazing!!! On Tuesday, the guys and the girls split up. The girls went to Mi Esperanza to get manicure and pedicures, and the guys went to build a house. Now that doesn't really sounds fair, but Mi Esperanza teaches single moms important things they need to know so they can open their own buisness. When you tip these ladies $5 it helps them feed their families for 3 weeks!

After that we went to Nuevo Oriental which is one of the poorest neighborhoods. We played with the kids and colored with them. It was so much fun!!

After we left Nuevo, we went to Hospital Escuela which is a free hospital in Tegus. We first went down to the kids cancer ward where they were getting chemo. Oh man was that hard. They told us to go in with smiles on our faces. That wasn't that hard until you saw the kids. Everyone went to one of the kids and I went to a little boy named Ceasar. He's only 12 and he has lukemia (sp?). He is also blind in both eyes. He had such great strength though. We asked him if he felt any pain and he said no. You could tell he was in pain though. He gave him this cat and he just sat there and petted it (the cat is the one you see in the picture). It was so hard. He's one of the kids I wonder about.

After that we went to the malnurishment unit. Wow..that's all I can really say. There's no way to really describe how you feel after see that. I guess I wasn't really expecting to see that. There was one girl in there that when I saw her and heard her story, I started to cry uncontrollably..I have tears in my eyes now as I even just think about it. This girl was 14 years old..the same age as me. She looked only about 10. She was so tiny. Both her parents had died and she was in her room alone. She was the shyest little girl ever. She didn't talk. She just nodded her head. Jen told her that she was a princess and she saw the daughter of the King and that she needed to lift her head high and be proud. We went back to the Villa Gracia (the mission house area) after that for dinner. I couldn't eat. I would start to then I would see the faces of the kids in the malnurishment. It emotinally destroyed me seeing that. Again..there is no possible way to put into words how I felt after that day.

Wednesday morning we did a food distribution underneath a bridge. Literally! We pulled up and there were hundreds of people waiting for us. We were never allowed to be alone. People got a blue ticket then they would go down the hill and get their food bag. People actually lived in houses under the bridge. It smelled pretty bad too. But to see the houses and living conditions they are in..man..like I said before, alot of what I saw is so hard to put into words.

After that, we went back to Nuevo Oriental and had a VBS for the kids, while part of our crew went and built a house for a family of 7 children that only had 1 mattress. It was amzing to be able to see everyone using their talents. Some of us were also able to help feed the kids! They have a feedin center there that feeds children lunch everyday. They feed between 250-300 kids a day!! It was amazing! The VBS went really well! We played the biggest game of "Pato, Pato, Ganso" ("Duck, Duck, Goose") I had ever seen before!! It was awesome! Some of the kids I had seen before ran up to me and hugged me. Man..was that an amazing feeling!!

Thursday we went to the Jimmy Hughes orphanage and the rehab center. Pastor Salvador rapped for us, the Jimmy Hughes preached to us. That was interesting to say the least..Then we went to Didasko which is another orphanage. Our group gave Jorje, the man who runs it, $3000 from the extra money we had left over. The orphange had been running really short on money anf Jorje and his wife lived totally on faith to get them though. It was amazing!

After Didasko, we went shopping in the Valley of the Angels. Then we went to dinner at this resort place.

Then we went and had devo at the oldest church in the western hemisphere, Santa Lucia. The singing was absolutly amazing in that building!!

Friday was another building day. My group had the prettiest view ever, I have to say though! It was absolutly gorgeous!! Building went really well until it started pouring down the rain..haha..but after that it cleared up and was beautiful again!!! After that, we went to Casa de Esperanza and played with the kids then spent the night there. That was lot of fun but crazy at the same time!!

Saturday we went to the state run orphange, Consitas, and ate pizza with them. It's not the best place ever. It was fun to play with the kids though.

Then we went back to Hospital Escuela where we split into 4 groups. Walter got our group in the kids cancer ward where they usually don't let anyone in!! It was so sad to see all the kids in their rooms so helpless. We also went back to the malnurishment area and I saw my little 14 year old girl again!!

After that, we went back to the mission house to have dinner. After that some of us decided to go and get dessert at a restraunt that famous for crepes. And let me tell ya...they were amazing!!

And then it was Sunday..man..I couldn't belive it was time to go already! It seemed like we had just gotten there yesterday..But had to leave and come home sometime.

so after lots and lots of pictures, we headed on the bus and headed to the Jesus Statue for devo before we left. There was a lot of crying going on..and let me tell you I was bawling. I just really wasn't ready to come home yet. But with the money we had left over, we're sponsering 10 children at Nuevo Oriental, we bought 35 mattresses and a washing machine for Casa. And we gave Casa and Jen $1500!! It was so amazing!!

So all in all this trip was absolutly amazing!! It was definitely a real eye-opening experience for me!! I fell in love with Honduras and I can not wait to go back next year and spend two weeks in the place that stole my hear =]

So it's definitely been a while since i last posted as you can tell! I think I'm going to wait and do a huge end of the summer post about everything I've done this summer. It'll be a whole lot easier. I just say a little about Honduras really quickly though. It was truely amazing! I fell in love with the place!! It has really changed my life so much. I'm planning on going back for two weeks next year. I can't wait to go back! I think that a whole year is too long to wait!!! So I'll say more about it later =]

Honduas in Tminus 6 hours!

I know I just updated Monday, but this news couldn't wait!! I'M GOING TO HONDURAS THIS SUMMER!! AHH! I' M SOOO EXCITED!! My church is taking a mission trip down there June 9-17 and my mom and I are going! We had a lady from Casa de Esperanza, where two people from my youth group went this past summer, speak at prime time tonight! It was soo moving...I got goose bumps and chills when she was speaking! I knew God was telling me that I needed to go be a part of the mission trip!!!! Casa de Esperanza (which means House of Hope) started out with 5 kids. About a week and a half ago the got 5 more kids and they need all the help they can get! When we go down there, we could be building houses, visiting orphanages, distributing food and clothing, doing vacation bible schools/adult bible studies, and hospital visits. I saw this thing on Sam's xanga and I loved it so I'm going to put it on here----- If we could reduce the world's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios remaining the same, the demographics would look something like this:60- Asians, 12-Europeans, 5-US Americans and Canadians. 8-Latin Americans, 14-Africans 49-would be female, 51-would be male, 82-would be non-white, 18-white,89- heterosexual, 11- homosexual, 33- would be Christian, 67-would be non-Christian, 5-would control 32% of the entire world's wealth, and all of them would be US citizens, 80-would live in substandard housing, 24-would not have any electricity(And of the 76% that do have electricity, most would only use it for light at night.),67-would be unable to read, 1- (only one) would have a college education, 50- would be malnourished and 1 dying of starvation, 33- would be without access to a safe water supply, 1- would have HIV, 1- near death, 2- would be near birth, 7- people would have access to the Internet. If to take a look at the world from this condensed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes evident.Think of it! If you woke up this morning with more health than sickness, you are luckier than the million that will not survive this week. Memorial Day Weekend and Rachael's Violin Concert

So I'm sorry that it took me forever to get this post up..This week was so busy though and I didn't have time to upload all the pics and everything!! So a few weekends ago was Memorial Day Weekend and we go over to my Uncle's Lake house for that weekend every year. This year was different, but it was still fun!! So about a week and a half ago Rachael had a violin concert with 3 other girls. They have a violin concert after they complete the book they're working on. Rachael had two solos and then they did a bunch of pieces together. Here are some pics and I'm going to try and get a few videos up if it'll work!!

so it's definitely been a while since I'e updated, but nothing exciting really had happened from Spring Break until a few days so yea..this past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and we always go over to my uncle's lake house with my mom's whole side of the family! It was different this year than it usually is, but it was still fun!! My sister also had a violin recital last night and I got pictures and videos from that!!! I'm going to post pics from Memorial Day weekend and Rachael's recital as soon as I get more time! I PROMISE!!!! School is over in 6 days thoughh!!!! I can't wait! And then off to Honduras!! The week with Tiff =]

So last week was my Spring Break and I went down to North Carolina to spend the week with Tiffany!! It was sooo much fun! We got in to her house early EARLY Saturday morning...and by early I mean 1:30AM! So we slept in on Saturday then we went to the aquarium and the beach in the afternoon! It was definitely a ton of fun! On Sunday morning we went to church then we went to Wal-Mart to get grocery's and flowers. We went back to her house and planted the flowers. On Monday I went to school/work with Tiff! It was so much fun!! We went shopping that evening. On Tuesday I stayed home during the day then when Tiffany got home from work we took her dog Bohdi to the lake! It was soo hot! I got my leg scratched pretty badly by a thorn twig thingy, but its all good now! We went to Sonic after that..that was the first time I had it! It was very very good! On Wednesday I went to work with Tiff again, and that night we went out to eat with Tiffany's friend from work, Robin, and her family. On Thursday I went to work with her once again and that night we went out to a few stores to pick some things up. Friday, I went to work with her again, but Tiffany had two volleyball games to play in that day. It was teachers against teachers, but they let me play in one of the games. It was a lot of fun! We left to come home after that and it snowed pretty badly on the way back, but we made it back home safely. The week was definitely a ton of fun and I can't believe that it's already over! It's a week that I will neer forget!! Thanks so much to Tiffany for opening her house to me and letting me stay the week with her!

wow..It's been FOREVER since I've posted!! Well school's going really well! There's only like 45 days of school left so that's definitly exciting! We get out the 7th of June, then my mom and I will leave for Honduras on the 9th!! I'm soo excited for Honduras! It's going to be so much fun! Today in the sermon, our preacher used this poem and I fell in love with it! I went on google and I found it! Here it is: When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not shouting "I am saved," I'm whispering "I get lost!" That is why I chose this way. When I say..."I am a Christian," I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need someone to be my guide. When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on. When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and cannot ever pay the debt. When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect, my flaws are too visible but God believes I'm worth it. When I say..."I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches which is why I seek His name. When I say..."I am a Christian," I do not wish to judge. I have no authority. I only know I'm loved.

So...things are going okay right now..school's definitly getting harder and I've had problems with some friends latley but we worked it out..I definitly have just wanted to get away these past couple of weeks and the one place that I've wanted to go is Maine!! I miss it soo much!! It's my favorite place in the world and I just wanna get away and go up there so bad! Whenever I'm up there, I'm happy! It's absolutly beautiful up there and it always cheers me up! I CANNOT wait to get up there this summer and sit by the ocean!! Sorry I just kind of rambled...So my birthday's next month!! I'm excited for that! I had semester exams yesterday, today, and i have a few tomorrow then there's no school on Monday!! I really need a break right now even if it is only one day! I found out some news last night thought that definitly cheered me up!! It made my week!! Well I'll leave you with pictures of my favorite place in the world! We got home after school yesterday and Rachael ran up the steps (I was still in the car) and saw all the presents and screamed! It was hilarious!! We're leaving for New England on Thursday!!! My parents are picking us up early from school and we're driving about 8 hours up the road to somewhere in Pennsylvania and spending the night then driving the rest of the way in on Friday!! 9 Days Until Christmas Break

So things are going really great lately!! School's still going really well! I got all As and one B on my midterm but the B was in art so I should be able to bring it up! Christmas break starts next week and I can't wait!!! We're going up to Massachusetts and New Hampshire! I love being up there but I really dislike the drive up until we get to Connecticut then it's ok! It's going to be sooo much fun! I love hanging out with Drue and Devin! We always have fun together! I did Christmas Cards last night! I love doing things like that! Rachael and I got our picture taken for the card but it wasn't done professionaly..Mom just took it in front of our Christmas tree! I'll put the picture up when I get home...I'm at the elementary school right now waiting for my parents to pick me up! Tomorrow I think Kelsey is walking over here with me and we're going to do our homework then we're going back over to the high school to watch the junior high girls basketball game! Thursday night I think I'm going to the choir concert and watching all my friends sing! Then this weekend, my aunt and uncle and grandmommy are coming in and we're having our family Christmas together! It's going to be a lot fun! Then Sunday night is the teen Christmas party for the youth group but I'm not sure if I'm going to that or not yet...So I'll put that picture up when I get home! Leave me comments!! It's been a while since I posted so I thought since I had some free time I would post now...Thanksgiving was last week! It was soo much fun! There was a ton of great food and Aunt Kathy did an excellant job!!! There were 30 people crammed in Aunt Kathy and Uncle Kevin's living room, but it was still a lot of fun! This week has been going by really quickly! Christmas isn't that far away!! I'm soo excited for Christmas! I get to go up to my Grandma and Granddad's house in Massachusetts and my aunt and uncles houes in New Hampshire! It's going to be soo much fun! I get to see my cousins that I haven't seen since summer! I can't wait! Saturday I think I'm going up to Wheeling with my friend and her family for the football STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!! Williamstown made it again this year and I finally think we're going to win it!! It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait! So I don't have anything else to say!! Leave me comments!! Hey guys!! So School's still going really well!! Its getting harder and harder though..We just finished the 1st nine weeks!! Only 3 more to go!! Volleyball's over now! I'm pretty sad about that =(..We finished 5th out of 8 in the county...I think..This weekend my youth group put on a retreat for two other youth groups down in Virginia!! It went sooooooo well!!!!! We met some people and we became friends very quickly! It was so sad to see them leave today...Some people started crying...It was sooo much fun! I loved it and I can't believe its over!! So I think my mom and I know what we're doing with our Kingdom Assignment! There's a domestic violence shelter over in Marietta, Ohio for women and kids that have been abused..My mom called and asked if they needed anything and they said that they were running low in their budget right now and that they needed some specific things...So we're going to take $100 and buy supplies and with the other $100 we're just going to give it to them and tell them to put it aside for Christmas so the kids can get presents!! I'm soooooo happy with what we decided to do! I'm excited to hear what everyone else is going to do with their money!! Its exciting to hear some stories right now!! Well leave comments! My life and a Kingdom Assignment

well well well...Let's see...Life's been going really well lately!! We won the homecoming game of course! So we're still undefeated!!! School's still pretty fun...it gets harder and harder every single week..Algebra's about to kill me...I don't understand it at all..I got all A's on my midterm though so I'm very very happy about that!! Volleyball's ok...We've only won 2 matches so that stinks..We should be able to win our next two though...There's only two weeks left then it's tournament time!! I'm excited for the tournament!!! We going to show everyone who we really are!! About a month ago, about 100 or more people from church accepted a Kingdom Assignment...That Sunday at church, Kevin Lombard asked if anyone was ready for an assignment from God..if you were, you went up to the front..When you got up there, they handed you a $100 bill...The rules were simple 1) The money is God's, NOT yours 2) You have 90 days to use the money to further the Kingdom of God 3) At the end of the 90 days, you will report back to the congregation and tell what you did with the money. My mom and I accepted the $100 and we have an idea of what we're going to do with it but we're not positive...Please, please, PLEASE, pray for us!! We need God to show us what he wants us to do with his money! There are sooo many things we could do with it, but it's what ever God wants us to do. Also pray for the other 100 people who accepted the assignment!! It's a hard decision to decide what you are going to do with God's money! Thanks for all the comments!! So Tiff and Drue wanted an update so here it is!! School is going absolutly great!! I'm loving it sooo much! Tomorrow is homecoming which is my favorite day of the entire year because we don't do anything! We get out at 1 for the parade and then we have a pep ralley and schools over :-P It's the best day you could ask for!! Tomorrow night is the football game against St. Mary's! The streak is definitly going to continue to 52-0! I'm psyched! Volleyball's going ok...It's better than last year but we've only won 1 match which really stinks...It's fun though..Things have been going good latley!! Saturday I have a quad and then Zach's soccer game at OVU...Uncle James and Aunt Kathy, Megan and Kole are coming in for it so that'll be a lot of fun!! Revolve Tour

So this weekend was the Revolve Tour!!! It was soooo much fun!! We got there Friday night and Natalie Grant did her concert that night and Chad Eastham talked!! and some other people talked...It was fun..Then we went back to the hotel and got our rooms and I was in a room with Jenna, Anna, and Rachel!!! Anna and I stayed up talking until 2 am =O!! It was fun! Saturday ZOEgirl, Tammy Trent, and KJ-52 (prounced five two not fifty-two) had their concerts!!! Tammy Trent told the story about losing her husband and I cried pretty bad during that and I even knew what she was going to say! Laura Wilkinson, Olympic Gold Medalist in diving, talked and Kimiko Soldati talked too!!! So that was definitly and uplifting weekend! We got home last night and went to the fireworks with the Lombard's and some other people!!!! They were good!! Tomorrow is my first volleyball game and I'm a starter!!! I'm really happy about that!! So school starts tomorrow...Im pretty excited!!! I get to see my friends finally!! The summer had been one of the best so far!!! I've traveled a lot and had soooo much fun!! I went to Maine and New Hampshire and Arkansas!!! We had 3 weddings this summer!! My cousins Tiffany got married July 15, Zach got married August 5, and Becky Lallathin got married August 11...They were a lot of fun!! I've had volleyball practice everyday for the last two weeks..and I have it all this week =(...It's fun but I'm not going to be able to go to Zach's soccer games that much...This coming weekend I'm going to Deep Creek with the whole family...It's going to be sooooo much fun!! Summer...so far

My trip was a lot of fun!!! When we first got to New Hampshire, my aunt and uncle were going to a Red Sox game because some people got them tickets for their anniversary!! My dad and my uncle went online and got my cousins and my family tickets to the game too!! The game was sooo much fun!! My cousin Devin and I got sooo hyper after the 6th inning =)!! The rest of the time in New Hampshire we hung around the house and went to some different places!! Then we headed up to Maine for 2 weeks!! It rained a lot the first week we were there, but it was still fun!! We went to camp the Thursday of the first week in Maine and saw some people!!! That Saturday we went to Portland Head Light to see the Kellis'!! That was sooo much fun!! I missed them sooo much!!! The 2nd week my cousins and aunt and uncle were in for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday!!! That was a lot of fun!!! On Monday we swam the whole day...Then on Tuesday (which was the 4th of July) we went swimming again!!! That night we went down to the beach to do sparklers and we got to see some fireworks, but they were far away...On Tuesday night the toilet broke..That was quite an experience...but we got it fixed..kinda..it broke again on Thursday..but we were out of the cabin all day..Friday we left and headed to Nashua, NH again!!! We saw Devin play baseball on Saturday afternoon!!!! Then some people came back to their house and we played wifleball!! When Devin was playing first base and my dad hit the ball, my dad started running for 1st and niether of them were going to give up, so my dad ran right into Devin and it made fly back like 6 feet...it was sooo funny!!! Monday night we went to a Fishercats vs. Seadogs game...they are AA teams. That was a lot of fun!! Devin and I got hyper after the 6th inning again :-P..We got back home on Wednesday and we went over to uncle James and Aunt Becky's house to see everyone...Tatum has gotten sooo big!!! She is the cuttest thing!! Tomorrow is my dad's birthday!! He will be 40!!! We're going over to Morgantown tomorrow for my cousins wedding rehersal!! Then on Saturday is the wedding!!! So I thought I should update...I really don't remember anything that happened this past week..tonight I'm spending the night with Jenna...i'm not really sure what I'm doing tomorrow..but on Friday I have to game night thing at church..Saturday I'm going to start packing for Maine!!!!! I found these picture of Jenna and I!!! Hahaha...aren't they hilarious?!?!?! So this week has been fun!! It was my first week off from school!! Well the weeks not over yet...but still :-P..Last night I spent the night at Kylee's...that was really fun!! She's going to work at IHOP when she can get a job!! Haha!! Today we went shopping and I got a new purse!!! It's sooo cute!!! So Aunt Becky is hoping that Tatum Ann Marie (the name for her girl) is going to come this week!!! She's not due until the 20th but Noah and Emma both came two weeks early and this week is two weeks early!!! I CAN'T wait until she has her baby!! Last Day of School

So I guess it's time to update!!! The lake was a lot of fun this past weekend!!! The boat rides were awesome and I love spending time with my family!! I have had finals all week....That's crazy!! I mean seriously...this is the last week of school!! It should be fun!!!! Plus, I'm only in Junior High and none of the other junior highs in the county have the take them...o well...it prepares us for high school...Tomorrow is the last day of school!! We're having a yard sale Friday and Saturday!! Only two (or three??) more weeks until I go to Maine!! Ahhh...I'm sooo excited!!! We're not going to New Orleans for mission trip anymore...due to family circumstances....So yes...This week has been good!! The last day of school..I'm not really sure if I'm excited about that or not?? I mean..I'm excited because it's summer and I don't have to do any work..but I won't get to see any of my friends...o well...I think I'm more excited than not... Leave comments!! Crazy Week

Wow!!! This week has been absolutly crazy!!! We've had something every night...Monday was Rach's violin concert. Tuesday we did a bunch of stuff after school then I went to church to help with auction baskets. Tuesday was also Senior Day...that was definitly crazy!! If mom and dad hadn't picked Claire and I up after school, we would've been soaked.. Wednesday I got my haircut then church. Tonight I had to go speak at the 6th Grade Honors Banquet about 7th grade..Today at school, we had our reward party... fun fun!!! Claire ran into the metal bleachers and went to MedExpress because it was a very deep gash and she had to get a tetnis (sp?) shot and 20 stiches =( I feel soooo bad for her...So pray for Claire!!! This weekend I'm going to Deep Creek!!!! I love that place!!! Definitly excited about that!!! They got a new hot tub!!! Monday there's no school!! Only 5 days left guys!! Hang in there!!!! Shower Pics

The shower was a lot of fun!!!! Tiff got 4 crock-pots!! :-P...so on Friday my dad got me out of school @ 2:30 and mom and I left around 3:15...we got to Grandmomi's house then went and helped set up for the shower...after that we went to dinner with Kait, Zach, Kole, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Cindy, and Uncle Kevin!!! Saturday we went and finished setting up...then we had the shower!!! We took pictures after...we then cleaned up and put everything back to where it was supposed to be..we went back to Grandmomi's house to change then went out to Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kathy's house....Tiff tried on her wedding dress and veil for us and she looked like a princess!!! We sat out there and talked for a while...then went the Grandmomi's house...we woke up this morning then left @ 8:10 and went straight to church...church was good this morning!! It was Graduation Sunday and Garrett did a great job on the power point!! We had a fellowship meal after..now I'm home and Rach has a friend over!! Here are some pictures from the shower!! It's been Anna everytime :-P Thanks Anna for being my only commenter....So no one reads this...but i'll update anyways....This week has been the WEStest which has been easy for the most part....today was our last day for it!!! Yesterday was the NJHS induction...that was fun!! I would put pictures up but we lost the cord to load the pictures on the computer so I'm not going to be putting pictures up until we find the cord...this morning (before school even started) the fire alarm went off and we had to leave the school =O...the dust from all the construction set it off...so that was the most interesting part of the day...the rest was pretty boring..our poems for reading were due today...I might put mine up on here but I'm not sure yet...Tonight my sister has her choir concert..Tomorrow is school then I'm heading over to Mannington for my cousins bridal shower on Saturday!! I'm definitly excited about that!!! I'll be back on Saturday sometime!!! Elliott got voted off American Idol =(...I definitly hope Taylor wins!! He's the most original...plus I don't think that Katherine is that unique really...We only have like 10 days of school left!! That really excites me!! We have a full summer planned and I'm soo excited!!! Two of my cousins are getting married and I'm a bridesmaid in one of them!! We're going to be in New England for a while...plus a bunch of things with the youth group!! So this summer is definitly going to be awesome!!! Leave comments!! <3>

So yesterday we started WEStest =(....It wasn't that bad actually...the rest of the day was actually pretty good...We're watching October Sky in geography..that movies sad...Then Aunt Becky picked me up because my parents were at the Easton Mall all day without me =O...Today was WEStest again in the morning....We get to miss all our morning classes which is awesome because I don't like any of them anyways...Tonight is American Idol!!! Hopefully Katherine leaves this week!! Taylor all the way!! So tomorrow night is my National Junior Honor Society induction thingy which should be good!! School was good today!! Tonight I had my choir concert that went very well!!! It was fun!!! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Finally!! Next week its WEStest =(=(...o well!! I don't have to go to my morning classes for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday!!! Saturday is going to be soo fun!! I can't wait for school to be out!! I get to go to Maine for about 3 weeks which I'm wicked excited about!! HAPPY LATE ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!! So yesterday was my mom and dad's 19th anniversary = O!! They were married at 15 so they're not that old :-P! haha!! that was a joke!!!! Yesterday we had no school!! We went to OVU and the Lombards and Hardys were there...so it was fun!! Kylee and I played hide-and-go-seek in the library...there aren't a lot of place to hide in there...just in case you ever wanted to play hide-and-go-seek in there..you might need that little bit of advice :-P!!! We went to Applebees for mom and dads anniversary!! It was soo good!! Then we went home and mom and dad made milkshakes for everyone while mom and I watched AMERICAN IDOL!! and my dad and sister watched the Red Sox....I know that doesn't sound like I'm a die-hard fan..but when American Idol's on, I have to watch it!! So school was good today!!!! At 4 I think Chad and Jennifer are coming up for dinner!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen them forever and I'm soo excited!!! Then we have church!! Tomorrow I have my choir concert...=( I like it but I don't like to go to the concerts.....This weekend should be fun!! I have Kelly's birthday party at the beauty school!! Let's see... on Saturday, I went to Kevin Lombard's Graduation reception..That was a lot of fun!! Then the Wamsley's came over and we took pictures!! So I didn't get my "more that 3 comments." But I was bored so I thought I would update....Yesterday I went to my aunt and uncles house all afternoon....That was a lot of fun!! I haven't spent a lot of time with Noah and Emma in a while and that was cool! Aunt Becky was using my cell phone and prank calling people...hahaha..that was hilarious..Today I went to my sisters soccer game...now i'm home...Keith and Libby Wamsley are coming by so we can see Hannah and Caiden...They're leaving tomorrow morning at 7 and driving to Florida where they're moving..=( That's really sad...We're going to take pictures and I'll put some of them up here later..Then I think at 3 I'm going to a graduation party thing for Kevin Lombard..And Uncle James and Aunt Becky are coming over for dinner....I got a new profile picture...Thanks to Adam for telling me how to put it up!! So today was fun! In 6th period (which is choir) we're in the gym so we didn't sing today, but instead we played volleyball!! That was defanitly great!! Tonight I went to Powell finally!!! It was a ton of fun!! Those kids are adorable!! Then J.T. drove me to the Fox for Rachele and Brian Stephan's wedding, vow, reception thingy...I don't know what you would call it.. So Kelly's spending the night saturday then going to Friend Day at church with me Sunday!! That's defanitly going to be a blast!! so school was ok today! Since I got good grades on my midterm, my mom took me to the mall and I got a new purse and flip-flops!! While we were getting dinner I saw Kelly and our mom's finally got to meet! I love Kelly!! So I was thinking...I'm glad my parents are who they are!! I wouldn't be where I am without them!! I don't know what I would do without them!! I'm not trying to be judgemental, but I don't think I would like to have parents that were bikers or parents that worked all the time and I wouldn't see them!! I like my parents having the summers off so we can do things together as a family!! My sister is a lot of fun, too!! Even though we get in fights, I love her and I always have someone to do things with.. Red Sox won last night!! 7-3!! "Benedict Damon" was boed like expected!! They were throwing money at him and the guys in the bullpen made $10..I thought that was pretty funny =P!! Sox and Yanks were supposed to start at 7:05 but it's a rain delay..Beckett's pitching tonight and he's 4 and 1 right now!! Papelbon had an AWESOME April!! He had 10 saves! He pitched 14 scoreless innings...Belli got to the stadium 9 minutes before the game started last night!! American Idol's on tonight and it's the final 5!! You guys are awesome!! 6 comments and it was only my second post!! Well...today..school was good..got midterms!! Those are always good!! Church was good last night!! We learned some new songs that were really good!! I think I like the word "good"=P..I'll stop using it!! I'm hoping that I get to go to Powell thursday!! I haven't been in a while and I love it! Those kids are so adorable!! Red Sox-Yankees rivalry (sp?) is starting up again!! Wow! I love my family and friends!! They mean so much to me and I have no idea what I would do without them!! I go to them for everything! Well..I just had to say that!! Today has been good so far!! This morning in church, someone dropped the communion thing that had the drinks in it...that's the first time I've ever seen that happen! Tonight is the finger food meal at church then the 5th Sunday Sing! Now the Red Sox part!! They finally won last night!! 9-6! Papelbon came in in the 9th and struck out the side for his 10th save!!The game started at 1:15 today with Schilling going up against the Devil Rays and Kazmir....Schilling is 4-0 and we're looking for another win for him today!
